Hot summer days are now over. Days are getting shorter, mornings are foggy and cold and trees turn yellow, orange and red. Spooky season is coming and we’re slowly starting to countdown days till Christmas.

But before that let’s enjoy the beauty of golden Autumn and celebrate another year full of harvest. Let me show you some inspirational photos for outdoor decorations emphasizing colors of Fall. Let’s enjoy this season while wrapping ourselves in blankets and drinking hot chocolate.

1. Corn straight from the field

First on our list we have a porch decor with tall elements attracting attention. I’m talking about two tall corn stalk arrangements tied with natural twine, creating a striking vertical element. At the base, a collection of bright orange and white pumpkins is arranged around vibrant mums in deep red and golden yellow hues.

2. Collects these leaves

Here we see a beautiful wreath made of colorful autumn leaves. This decor adds a pop of color on black door. On both sides of the door we see black planters filled with an array of fall foliage, including orange mums, rich red leaves, and pumpkins of various sizes. The stonework and black lanterns add a touch of rustic elegance, enhancing the warm and welcoming ambiance.

3. Simplicity at its finest

You don’t really need tons of decorations to make your space look beautiful. Sometimes it’s even better to use less than more, to avoid tacky effects. Here we have a few pumpkins and orange mums waiting to fully bloom. This decor didn’t take a lot of time, but is still effective.

4. Must haves in Fall

First thing we see here is the small artificial tree working as a background for a sign saying ‘Pumpkins, Hayrides, Apple Cider’. Around it we have colorful flowers and pumpkins all nested nicely in a wooden barrel. Crow sitting on one of the branches reminds us that it’s a spooky season soon.

5. Lader as Fall outdoors decor

Creativity really has no limits. Did you ever think about using an old ladder as a decor element? Just wrap around some leaves, sunflowers and Christmas lights and you’re set.

6. Corn bouquet

Did you hear that you can make a bouquet out of everything? That includes old corn stalks. Put it in an old and rusty milk can and it will work on its own. Here someone added a couple small pumpkins and yellow mums that emphasize the yellow color of the corn.

7. Creative fall decor

This is another example of great creativity. Something as basic and simple as rake, can also be a base for a beautiful autumn bouquet.

8. Hunter boots reminding of rainy weather

Yellow rain boots correspond nicely with leaves sticking out of them and cushions in the background. Sweet red apples stacked in an old bucket remind of Fall.

Here we have a beautiful orange bouquet composed of sunflowers in the front and a water baton working as a tall background. Everything is neatly tied with a wide ribbon and put in a black planter.

Here we have proof that you don’t need a lot of space for your fall decor. Someone here used a small plant stand and decorated it with pumpkins and Hawthorn berries. It’s a nice pop of color in a dark space.

11. Vibrant color of Chrysanthemums

Here we have another simple but effective decor. Vibrant orange mums shine on their own and don’t need much decorating. Small orange pumpkin corresponds nicely with orange flowers.

To be honest, I’m always surprised when I see cabbage heads in fall decor arrangements. In my head cabbage isn’t a decorative element, but once again, I’m proved wrong. In this planter we have a beautiful composition of pumpkins, cabbage, grass and pansies. Apparently they don’t grow only in the spring.

13. Purple Autumn

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think when Americans think of Fall they see orange pumpkins all around, whereas if you asked Europeans, especially from the UK, their first association with Fall would be heath hills covered with purple heaths and going for miles, disappearing into the distance. Here we have woven baskets filled with purple flowers reminding of those views.

14. Colorful stairs with autumn plants

Here we have a mix of colors. We see white and purple mums, green cabbages and orange pumpkins. It all works together nicely, especially at night when the candles are lit.

15. Hanging basket as fall decor

In this photo we see a second life of a hanging basket. Using hanging elements is a smart idea when you don’t have much space on your porch. In this case, the basket is filled with green ivy and white pumpkins, creating very neutral and minimalistic fall decor.

16. Minimalistic Fall decor

Here we have a proposition for people who want to decorate for Fall, but are not big fans of energetic and flashy colors. We all know pumpkins come in every shape and color. That includes white and green. If your porch decor is already green, then these two colors will blend in perfectly without disturbing the harmony.

17. Pumpkin tower

This metal obelisk must be a salvation for people who have definitely too many small pumpkins. Metal frame creates a tall centerpiece without the risk of everything falling over. Green ivy at the bottom nicely fills out the space and corresponds with green elements on the pumpkins.

18. Lantern not only for candles

These lanterns are really versatile. They can be used all year round and apparently not only for candles. Here they are filled with pumpkins and pinecones. Imagine how awesome it would look if we added some string light as well.

19. Scarecrow family for Fall decor

That’s a sweet view. A scarecrow family sitting on some hay. They even have a cat! Add some corn stalk, mums and pumpkins and you have a beautiful Fall decor. Scarecrows do not really serve their original purpose anymore so it’s good to see that they stayed with us as a decoration.

20. Trolley full of Fall

This trolley gives you an impression that someone just came home with the harvest and will unload it all in a second. Pumpkins together with red leaves look beautiful and the trolley could be a decor all on its own. Colors of the wreath correspond with those on the trolley and everything looks cohesive together.
